Summer of Mani-Love: ManiLife gets set for the summer with launches in Booths, the Co-op and Ocado

2 June, 21

This June, ManiLife’s award-winning peanut butter will expand its reach across the UK and further spread the message that it is the ‘best peanut butter on Planet Earth.’ The move will see ManiLife launch into over 530 Co-op stores across the UK and 27 Booths stores throughout the Northern counties of Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria and Yorkshire, with an additional 2 products launching into Ocado.

“Best peanut butter on planet earth” Joe Wicks, The Body Coach

To celebrate this ‘Summer of Mani-Love’, ManiLife will be running monthly competitions on their social media and have created a series of simple and easy-to-transport recipes to be enjoyed at the park, beach, campsite or back garden using easy-to-find ingredients that are available to buy from the Co-op, Ocado and Booths.

Brand new recipes include some beautifully simple Peanut Butter Cookies, a vegan version of Elvis Presley’s famous PBJ, fresh alternatives to PBJ for kids using apples, bananas and strawberries and some fiery flavour combinations to elevate the humble picnic sandwich using kimchi, pickles and Sriracha plus some vegan Broccoli and peanut butter noodles.

“When it comes to peanut butter, ManiLife has somewhat of a cult following.” Good Housekeeping Institute, May 2021

ManiLife thinks their award-winning peanut butter is the best tasting in the world. And they aren’t the only ones. Not only do they have the stamp of approval from the likes of Joe Wicks, Deliciously Ella, Sara Cox and Ravneet Gill, their deep and irresistible flavours mean that they are the only peanut butter to have ever won 3 Great Taste Award stars. ManiLife is also best by test with the Good Housekeeping Institute (#1), The Times (5/5), The Sunday Times (10/10), The Daily Mail (10/10), The Independent (Indy Best), Metro and The Sun all putting ManiLife first in their taste tests. They are officially delicious.

ManiLife’s peanut butters are created using single estate hi-oleic peanuts which are roasted for a deeper, more intense flavour by expert roasters here in the UK, then blended in small batches for stand-out quality and taste. They are completely natural, with no added sugars, palm oil or artificial sweeteners or preservatives. This winning combination of provenance and flavour is the reason that ManiLife is the chef’s choice of peanut butter and features on the menus of restaurants, bakeries and recipe boxes across the country, including Crosstown Doughnuts, Hotel Chocolat and Gousto.

ManiLife was the first peanut butter brand to start thinking about roasting peanuts the same way master roasters think about coffee. Inspired by the principles of rigorous sourcing and craft roasting that he saw in single-origin coffee, founder Stu decided to apply those ideals to peanut butter and create something entirely unique. ManiLife is the only mainstream peanut butter brand sourcing from a single estate. Their peanuts are sourced from their friends at a family-run farm in Argentina that Stu discovered whilst working in the country for a peanut butter social enterprise. Not only do they grow the finest peanuts on the planet, they are also extraordinary people – their farm converts the shells from the peanuts into electricity for the village. In 2019 that village was the only one with the lights left on after a countrywide power cut.
