Gray & Adams has delivered two 26 tonne and one 18 tonne trucks to new customer Beacon Foods in the Brecon Beacons, South Wales via MAN trucks.

Beacon Foods supplies both raw, and prepared food ingredients to a varied customer base spanning food manufacturers and food service providers across the UK and Europe. Supplying into business-to-business foodservice companies, Beacon Foods require reliable, temperature-controlled vehicles to maintain the quality of the products it delivers.

With requirements for multi-temperature dual compartments, Beacon Foods wanted strong boxes that could hold a high volume of products whilst still being lightweight enough for efficient operations.

Gray & Adams specialises in bespoke builds and their innovative approach to design ensures customers reap multiple benefits from products that are highly tailored to their operations. For Beacon Foods, this included built-in cameras and satellite tracking to monitor door opening and fridge temperature.

Though Gray & Adams is renowned for its excellent after-care and customer service, Beacon Foods was impressed with their professional and knowledgeable approach, as well as transparent customer service and on-time delivery.

Edward Gough, Chairman at Beacon Foods, said,

“Gray & Adams has provided us with very smart delivery vehicles, not only in how they operate but also how they look. All of the vehicles were liveried by Gray & Adams and the high quality finish adds value to our brand by enhancing the service we provide.”

Ryan Mazgaj, Sales Manager at Gray & Adams Doncaster, added,

“We are delighted that Beacon Foods has selected Gray & Adams as a supplier of their new delivery vehicles. This new customer relationship has expanded our customer base in South Wales – a market we are committed to.”
