Flames Foods Recalls Various Frozen Products Due To Undeclared Allergens.

Flames Foods is recalling various types of frozen products because they contain various allergens that are not mentioned on the label or have not been emphasised correctly. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard, nuts (almond), sesame, soya, and/or an allergy or intolerance to egg, wheat (gluten), milk or milk constituents, and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.

These products contain egg, milk, mustard, nuts (almond), sesame, soya, sulphites, and wheat (gluten), making them a possible health risk for anyone with allergy and/or intolerance to egg, and/or allergy and/or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, allergy to mustard, nuts (almond), sesame, soya, and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, and/or allergy and/or intolerance to wheat (gluten).

Action taken by the company.

Flames Foods is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also been advised to issue a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.
