Vision Gelpack, the UK manufacturer of food grade film, liners and sacks for the food processing, beverage and industrial sectors, has been awarded BRC packaging and packaging materials V5 certification, providing its customers with the reassurance that the company fully complies with the highest food safety, quality and operational criteria.

The BRC Global Standard for packaging and packaging materials is the first in the world to be benchmarked by the Global Food Safety initiative and is widely recognised and respected among food manufacturers and processors. “What this provides is independent verification that we fulfil our legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer,” says Geoff Davis, Vision Gelpack’s managing director. “In short, that we are operating to a globally recognised food safety management standard.”

At the same time, the company has been awarded the ISO 9001-2015 quality management standard and ISO 14001 – 2015 environmental management standard certifications.
